The victory was set up by Matthew Breetzke’s fluent 88 and Tristan Stubbs’ composed 74, before Lungi Ngidi dismantled Australia’s batting with a five-wicket haul. The trio ensured South Africa continued their recent dominance over Australia in ODIs, with this marking their fifth successive bilateral series triumph against the old rivals.
